Gemma is a wonderful actress, model and a Liverpool based yoga teacher on a mission to make yoga accessible to everyone.
Yoga has been a big part of Gemma’s life since she was 18 and fell in love with the practice as soon as she stepped on the mat. Although she initially planned to qualify as a yoga teacher, life took her on a different path as she embarked on her acting career for the next few years.
After spending over a decade in the TV industry, yoga continued to be part of Gemma’s day to day life and in 2012 proved to be her refuge following the sudden bereavement of her father. From then onwards, there was no way back…yoga became Gemma’s healing and in 2014 she decided to fulfil her dream and qualify as a yoga teacher. It was one of the most challenging and equally rewarding experiences of her life and also the steppingstone for her new journey. Passionate about health and wellbeing, Gemma also qualified as a Yin Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer and now Meditation Teacher and she continues to expand her experience whilst encouraging people to step on the mat.
Her classes are all about feeling the postures, the body and the breath while giving everyone permission to be themselves. You will often hear her encouraging you to 'do you' during the practice whilst flowing through carefully selected pieces of music and always finishing with a beautifully guided meditation.

Benjamin genuinely believes that love is the greatest thing and discovering how love can be a consistent part of the journey through life is his favourite part of the adventure.
Currently based in Paris after travelling from New York to Barcelona, Benjamin was first introduced to yoga in his late 20s while living in South California. Following his friend’s advice, Benjamin brought union to all of his passions by studying to be a proper instructor of yoga. He initiated his training with a Vinyasa foundation and has since expanded into Pre and Post-Natal Studies, Children, Family and Group Yoga specialisations, yoga after-school programs and summer yoga retreats while also facilitating various yoga teacher trainings throughout Europe.
Benjamin is deeply touched by the genuine sense of community and his classes are an outgrowth of his personal practice. His sequences are continuously evolving, and the focus gradually transitions between balance to strength, flexibility to focus. He encourages the process of rediscovering ourselves and our world while leading classes that are thematic and light-hearted. Cooperative and appreciative. Accessible and expansive.
Echo is a Birmingham based yoga teacher with a great love of being upside down. She moved to Birmingham after living abroad for a few years working on the sea.
Echo was introduced to the practice 10 years ago by her mother and it was the best thing for her because yoga has helped her heal from a lot of trauma. With over 700 hours of registered training, Echo teaches various styles of yoga and hopes to share the wonderful and healing benefits of the practice with her students.
Echo’s classes are playful, but following careful sequencing, and she doesn’t normally stick to one school of yoga only. When she is not on the mat Echo cooks, reads or loves watching dog videos online.

Lee-Ann is one of our expert yoga teachers who is based in Cape Town, South Africa. Lee-Ann is friendly and compassionate, so she is blessed and honoured to be able to share the healing gift of yoga with others. At her first yoga class at 20-years old, after the teacher taught Bakasana (crow pose) she was completely hooked and practiced regularly for five years before doing her 200hr TT. Life challenged her yet again and shortly after she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, so Lee-Ann turned to yoga and a healthy lifestyle to keep flare-ups at bay.
She strongly believes that each pose teaches a new level of connection, each new shape is an adventure into her internal world and her practice is one of expansiveness to which she is dedicated.
Lee-Ann teaches a range of classes, including healing which is taught from the heart to provide deep levels of connection. She teaches strength in every pose and emphasises the connection with different parts of the body as well as the world within; arm balances and hip openers are her superpowers and she’s dedicated to teaching her students. More recently, due to her training to do the Robben Island swim, Lee-Ann will be teaching a combination of core intensive yoga exercises and long hold poses to stretch out certain areas of overuse.
When not on her mat, Lee-Ann spends her spare time surfing, training and swimming and, as a result of coming from a family of springbok swimmers, feels more at home near the ocean than anywhere else. Both her sisters swam in the Commonwealth games and her dad was a springbok Water polo player. Lee-Ann is currently training for the Robben Island swim – a 7.5km open ocean swim from Robben Island to Bloubergstrand.
Marie is an inquisitive, joyful soul in the vessel of a young woman who draws inspiration from the extraordinary and the everyday in equal measure, forever trying to recognise they are of the same cloth, and that the threads that bind the two worlds are interwoven through all that we do.
Fascinated by this experience of being human she loves to explore the mind body connection through the physical, the mental and the emotional, exploring movement of prana or energy through the physical in yoga, dance, running, Qi-Gong; through the mental with continued learning, investigating and problem solving and through the emotional both with exchanges with others in the outer world and within the inner world of the self.
Marie loves the stories we tell each other about ourselves, the stories we store in our bodies. Continuing to learn how to befriend mind and body and identify the stories they hold is an ongoing process, a coming home that she invites you to share with her. From her perspective life so far has been a series of learning and unlearning, creating and erasing, forging and surrendering and she is grateful for it all.
As a facilitator Marie strives to create safe spaces for people to connect authentically with themselves and others, trusting their own wisdom and inner teacher. She is interested in/actively trying to create inclusive, fluid and sustainable community led initiatives that empower, enable and encourage those around her.
